Seed of a woman

Here is the evidence.

Matt. 1:22-24—Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24  Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

Have you ever considered that there exists another side to this miracle?

The first miracle of course is the creation of the universe ex nihilo or out of nothing. Then the next obvious miracle in the context of bringing forth life within this miracle of Life is the incarnation of Christ who is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." (John 14:6.)

Now in order for a male to be born an "X" chromosome within the egg of the mother must be fertilized by a  "Y" chromosome carrying spermatozoid from the father.

Everyone is most familiar with the gospel fact found in Matthew which really hearkens back to

Gen. 3:15—And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

which is proof positive that Christ will be born of the seed of a woman.

Now let's take a closer look and match this with the supernatural birth of Isaac. That seed was miraculously brought forth by the promise made to Abraham by none other than Jehovah Himself in Person (Gen. 17). As Jehovah came to Sarah so did He come to Mary. In order for Mary to give birth to a son the Y-chromosome had to have been received in her womb. It came from the Holy Ghost (Luke 1:35). Thus the Author of the Scriptures is as responsible for the written word of God as He is also responsible for the mysterious incarnation of the Word made flesh.

Does it get any better than this?

Materialists have a lot to give an account for in their worldview.

We are talking about a miracle within a miracle three times over. The Creation of the (1) Time / Space / Matter-energy. And as the Universe comes into being the first thing that becomes manifest is (Light) Life—God in Majestic spoken operation.

(2) Sarah's miraculous appearance of a seed that went on to produce a manchild, Isaac.

Gen. 17:21—But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

(3) That leads to the third and greatest miracle of all, Mary's virgin birth. This is what gave the Son of God source material in order to put on humanity like a suit.

Are we talking about some sort of "immaculate" conception where no human egg or sperm is involved? The scriptures support no such notion and this could not be the intent of Gen. 3:15. Her seed is not an imaginary philosophical concept. It is just as literal as God saying let there be light and there was light. And in

Gen 1:11—And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Although prior to Sarai's name change (Gen. 17:15) Abram's wife was identified as being barren (Gen. 11:30) Sarah was no longer experiencing the monthly custom of a woman for the scripture made it a point to record this detail in

Gen. 18:11—Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and IT CEASED to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

What is the Bible describing here about the body of Sarah's childbearing condition?

What does Menopause mean?

Although Sarah is in menopause we are neither to understand that Abraham knew not Sarah for in order for Gen. 11:30; 12:7; 13:15, 16; 15:4; 17:6-8, 19 to be true both Abraham and Sarah had to be active participants of the promise to be fulfilled to them. Nevertheless, her capacity to conceive in itself is a miracle. God worked through her body to cause something there that had not been there for years. Furthermore, the Bible says

Gen. 21:1, 2—And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
2  For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Sarah was no longer of the seed / oocyte-producing age. We are talking about being many years into her menopause. This is the 1st half of the miracle of the lineage of the descendants of the "sons of Jacob." And Jesus' incarnation is the other half of the miraculous equation with the reception of His Y chromosome to be conceived in Mary's womb.

What happened to Sarah was as supernatural at the level of a grand miracle as the creation of the universe out of nothing. Nonetheless, a miracle this was a different set of circumstances with Mary. Unlike Sarah Mary was fertile and full of life. Thus the Author of Life was condescending now to become a human life in the same manner men come to be in fulfillment of Gen. 3:15.

Heb. 10:5—Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Gal 4:4—But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, MADE of a woman, made under the law,

Gen 3:15—And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

The promise came that selfsame day not before but after sin entered the world. And the Spirit of Prophecy affirms what kind of human body Christ took upon Himself.

We are compassed with the infirmities of humanity. So also was Christ. That He might by His own example condemn sin in the flesh, He took upon Himself the likeness of sinful flesh.—Ms 125, 1901, p. 14.—17MR:28.2

…For four thousand years the race had been decreasing in physical strength, in mental power, and in moral worth; and Christ took upon Him the infirmities of degenerate humanity. Only thus could He rescue man from the lowest depths of his degradation.—DA:117.1

Where did Christ's "degenerate" "sinful flesh" come from? Not from God the Father or God the Holy Ghost. God does not create sinful anything.

Thus the following is observed by the reverent student of the Bible in the overarching overview that leads to the mysterious incarnation of the Son of God. God in both instances provided on two separate miraculous occasions the necessary substance to procreate human life. God provided for Himself His "X" and His "Y" in the lineage of the descendants of Abraham by the promise over 1,800 years apart which leads to the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

His word in Gen. 3:15 comes to pass. Therefore the "X" from Sarah came forth from the substances of her body yet supernaturally. In this instance, the father of FAITH, Abraham, provided the "Y" through the procreative act after the rite of circumcision was established.

All of Isaac's descendants are recipients of existing on earth by the promise made to Abraham after the circumcision and not by the will of men. Mary precisely being a product of this miraculous lineage by the promise, of the tribe of Joseph (Gen. 49:22-24), does provide the "X" in this instance.

Joseph, a descendant of David of the tribe of Judah, does not provide the "Y." God does. Thus all scripture is fulfilled.

Gen 3:15—And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

"X" provided by God from the substance of Sarah's body.

Gen 18:9-14
9  And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
10  And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
11  Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
12  Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
13  And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
14  Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I WILL RETURN UNTO THEE, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

"Y" provided by God.

Luk 1:27-35
27  To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Josephof the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28  And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29  And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31  And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32  He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33  And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

John 1:14—And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

An explanation for what kind of flesh is found in DA:117.1.

Furthermore, both John and Paul under Inspiration agree that Jesus Christ is indeed the offspring of David.

Rev. 22:16—I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Rom 1:3, 4—Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

How this is possible has not been revealed. But is anything too hard for the Lord, asks the scripture?

Count them.

…22 autosomes and the sex-deciding particle is known as a chromosome which in the case of females can only produce "x"(s)

Autosomes or chromosomes:

In humans, each cell normally contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, for a total of 46. Twenty-two of these pairs, called autosomes, look the same in both males and females. The 23rd pair, the sex chromosomes, differ between males and females.Jun 1, 2021

Are Chromosomes and autosomes the same?

Definition. An autosome is one of the numbered chromosomes, as opposed to the sex chromosomes. Humans have 22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes (XX or XY). Autosomes are numbered roughly in relation to their sizes.Oct 26, 2022

For those who are inclined to believe that the birth of Christ did not involve Mary's embryo the Bible warns

1Jn 4:2-3
2  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

In order for Genesis 3:15 to be true along with DA:117.1; John 1:14; and Rev. 22:16 Man's fallen sinful flesh had to be involved and yet still this did not prevent God's miraculous intervention.

After the onset of menopause, barrenness is not the appropriate term that characterizes Sarah's case. God caused an oocyte to appear where none could be found before. Thus as I see it God provided Himself the "X" side of the equation for 1st conception to take place.

A woman can be barren and still have menstruation as was the case of Sarah. If God did not have marital relations with Mary in order for her to conceive it stands to reason that neither did He do the same with Sarah.

The "Y" portion was provided at the time of Jesus' birth.

Here is another piece of evidence that is in harmony with 1Jn 2:2-3 and that is DA:117.1. Those are in perfect harmony with each other. Here is another one

Rom 8:3—For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

At the Saviour's baptism, Satan was among the witnesses. He saw the Father's glory overshadowing His Son. He heard the voice of Jehovah testifying to the divinity of Jesus. Ever since Adam's sin, the human race had been cut off from direct communion with God; the intercourse between heaven and earth had been through Christ; but now that Jesus had come "in the likeness of sinful flesh" (Romans 8:3), the Father Himself spoke. He had before communicated with humanity through Christ; now He communicated with humanity in Christ. Satan had hoped that God's abhorrence of evil would bring an eternal separation between heaven and earth. But now it was manifest that the connection between God and man had been restored.—DA:116.2

Jesus is the Second Adam made of the flesh after Sin entered the world not before. (See: 3SM 141.5.) That is what DA:117.1 brings out.

Christ, the second Adam, came in the LIKENESS of sinful flesh. In man's behalf, He became subject to sorrow, to weariness, to hunger, and to thirst. He was subject to temptation, but He yielded not to sin. No taint of sin was upon Him. He declared, "I have kept My Father's commandments [in My earthly life]." (John 15:10.) He had infinite power only because He was perfectly obedient to His Father's will. The second Adam stood the test of trial and temptation that He might become the Owner of all humanity.—Ms 99, 1903, pp. 3, 4. ("Christian Education in Our Schools," September 1, 1903.)—8MR:38.5

Christ is the ladder that Jacob saw, the base resting on the earth, and the topmost round reaching to the gate of heaven, to the very threshold of glory. If that ladder had failed by a single step of reaching the earth, we should have been lost. But Christ reaches us where we are. He took our nature and overcame, that we through taking His nature might overcome. Made "in the likeness of sinful flesh" (Romans 8:3), He lived a sinless life. Now by His divinity He lays hold upon the throne of heaven, while by His humanity He reaches us. He bids us by faith in Him attain to the glory of the character of God. Therefore are we to be perfect, even as our "Father which is in heaven is perfect."—DA:311.5

God Himself caused an "X" (egg) in Sarah to appear where none could be found before. This made it possible for Abraham's "Y" to finally fertilize her egg through the procreative act. No other child followed after that miraculous event in Sarah. On the other hand, Mary had her egg fertilized by what the Holy Ghost placed in her which was a "Y." No scriptures were violated in this description.

Fact: Women can only produce "X" and men either produce a Y-carrying or X-carrying spermatozoid. No sin was committed by describing what happened in both wombs scientifically.

Gal. 4:28—Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

The point is clear from the scriptures. God's supernatural incarnation/birth has supernatural origins on both sides not just at the time of Mary.
