Who is the David in the Kingdom?

This is what we know about "who is the David in the kingdom?"  AFTER the purification of the church.      Having abode "many days without a king" (their lot from the days of their captivity in Babylon even to this very day), "the children of Israel shall...afterward" (sometime in the future), says the scripture, "...return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days."
