Second death participants
To escape the first Adam's current default position look unto Jesus (the second Adam [1Co 15:45]), sinless is He. 2Co 5:21—For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Jesus was the first to participate in the Second Death but not for Himself so that we may escape damnation and in turn have the opportunity to be partakers of His divine nature. It is a part of the plan of redemption to pay our penalty as the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world.
